Joan Rivers Makes Outrageous Jokes About Whitney Houston's Death

ALTIf there's one thing we can count on from Joan Riversit's that she'll say something completely outrageous that will probably shock and offend some of the prissier members of her audience. It seems like there is always someone clutching their pearls when Rivers goes on one of her tears. But that's our Rivers for you. The latest affront comes from two jokes she makes about the recently-departed Whitney Houston in her new book, I Hate Everyone...Starting With Me.Village Voice gossip and man about town Michael Musto uncovered them for the world.

These jokes are from the section in her book dedicated to discussing travel:

"I hate Houston," she says. "It's crawling with bugs. Oh, wait, that's Whitney Houston; I'm sorry, my bad."

"Can I just mention that Whitney looked fabulous at the Grammys?" Rivers says. "She was in mahogany from head to toe."

Get ready for the indignation and cries of "Too Soon!" to begin before Fashion Police even hits the air tonight. If Rivers was a weaker woman we'd be worried, but at this point it seems like she's almost immune to outrage. That's what it's like to be fearless.
