Kim Kardashian eventually apologizes to Indians

Los Angeles: The voluptuously stunning and a real sex bomb…yes this term fits aptly to her, Kim Kardashian has now apologized Indians after she termed Indian food ‘disgusting’. The reports have it that Kim told her family members that she thought Indian food was disgusting. But now she insists that there was no intention at all to offend the Indians.

Kardashian, 31, the famed socialite, reality star and model of international fame of the US, landed under bigger fire after she talked nasty about the Indian food with her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner in their show ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ in Sunday’s episode. After she learnt that the Indians worldwide did not like it at all and she had landed under mammoth fire, Kim had to come to her official website to make the things clear. She wrote that she did not want to offend anyone of the people of Indian origin by saying that Indian food was disgusting.

Kim went on adding that there was no intention at all to insult the Indians or their culture. Kardashian then said that there were few of Armenian foods which she found disgusting but this did not show that she did not like the people or culture of Armenia.

After the episode went on air, Kim was bombastic with heavy criticism on Twitter by the Indians.

There were also reports that the socialite was scheduled to visit India but still there is no itinerary revealed yet. Hollywood celebs now show much intention in visiting India and even many have shown their interest in working in Bollywood movies. Kim Kardashian is a renowned name in the world of Hollywood entertainment. This babe is hugely popular in the entire world. She and her siblings have launched many products on their names as well. Kim is the central focus of the paparazzi wherever she goes in the world.

Over-Confident Sonam calls Katrina “shameless” and herself “trendsetter” !

Sonam Fashionista Kapoor, as always has made it to the news again with her big-mouthed and insulting comments. The fresh target this time is, Chikni Chameli Katrina Kaif, whom Sonam just tagged as “shameless”.

Now at Cannes, Sonam made her loud and open statement to film journalist Anupama Chopra, and stated that “I would like to give Katrina a bouquet of flowers.” On being asked why so, she reverted: “I don’t know how she does that. You need a certain kind of commitment and a certain kind of shamelessness to do certain things. You get that may be with stardom or with confidence in your talent or with who you are as a person. I need to develop that before I do films like that.”

She also affirmatively articulated about herself being a trendsetter. She declared “I was just being myself, people caught on and now it has become a trend. All the actresses have started hiring stylists. It’s always nice to be a trend-setter.” Also she remarked “I’ve been here(Cannes) for five years, and I’ve done 6 films. When it comes to movies, there is so many of us we can talk about. But when it comes to fashion, there is only me, at the risk of sounding immodest.”

Sonam and her vociferous and obnoxious comments have always been airing around. This time around she charged Katrina Kaif. But Sonam Darling needs see her record and Katrina’s record, who has been all favorite and has been delivering hits one after the other. And as far as Sonam is concerned, we need not discuss that.Right! She might be good at fashion, but certainly its high-time Sonam resisted her temptation of remarking and insulting people with her blustering comments.

No stopping for Arjun Kapoor !!

Debuted with Ishaqzaade successfully, Arjun Kapoor is all set to set the floor moving and audiences entertained with his next array of movies. His rugged looks, headstrong attitude and dedication to work, all are kicking at the same time.He is bagging films after films and there is no stopping him.

After playing “Parma” in Ishaqzaade, he is all geared up to experiment with his roles. Be it playing double role or a rebel younger brother, both of Arjun’s hands are taken at the present moment.

This newbie has already started working for his next project with the YRF Films   once again,  donning a double role. The movie is titled “Aurangzeb” directed by Atul Sabharwal.Double role translates to doubled expectations, and young actors don’t easily risk themselves with double role, but Arjun keeps the Dabbang attitude of the real life role model, Salman Khan and acts fearless in taking up such challenging roles.Instead he is animated and delighted to accept the challenge of enacting and delivering two different performances in the same film.

Up his sleeve, is another movie from the Rajshri Productions Camp, titled “Bade Bhaiya”.And guess who plays the role of “Bade Bhaiya”?. He is none other than Salman Dabbang Khan, who is playing the part of elder brother in Sooraj Barjatya’s next venture. Salman had always played the role pf younger brother in prior Rajshri films, but the tables have certainly turned and now its time for him to play the elder one. Arjun is playing the younger one who is a rebel, and Salman would be under his guardianship, the one bringing him on his track of being a matured and calm person.

Sooraj Barjatya was blown away after seeing Arjun’s performance in Ishaqzaade, and found the young character he was looking for as per the script requirement was none else but Arjun.

Arjun has always strutted around claiming Salman to be his mentor in his real life, whose advice in losing extra kilos from his plumpy body helped him in achieving the macho looks he flaunts now.

Official announcements for “Aurangzeb” are yet to be made and would go on the floors in the last quarter of the year, whereas “Bade Bhaiya” would be releasing around EID next year.

Kapoor son is flooded with offers and is surely going to take the legacy forward. All want to see more of Arjun in the coming future in more avatars, but girls especially, would  be charmed as always by his mannish looks.

Everyday something or the other happens in Bollywood which makes headlines the next morning. We have chosen the most exciting incidents of today exclusively for you.

• Shahrukh Khan disappointed numerous fans waiting to see him in the scorching heat. Thousands of fans were waiting to see King Khan in Kolkata Knight Riders’ victory parade. He gave it a miss and went straight to the state secretariat where the chief minister felicitated the entire team. The crowd thought it was cruel of him to keep them waiting. They also said that it made them feel like fools.
• Sonam Kapoor says that she thinks that she is her own competitor. She believes in following a different path and never competes with another heroine. The actress will play a small town girl in her next flick. The film will be directed by Aanand L Rai who earlier had directed Tanu Weds Manu. Raanjhana is the film’s title and it also stars Dhanush of Kolaveri Di fame.
• When Prabhu Deva was busy partying with Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar on the 27th his sons were missing from the much hyped party. The young lads were fast asleep in a room as the rest of the people partied. Prabhu Deva said that they did not know who the invitees of the party were. The host invited ShahRukh when he got to know about his team’s win.
• Nargis Fakhri’s list of admirers seem to be increasing by the passing day. The newest addition to the list is Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta’s ex boyfriend. The chemistry between them became evident in Karan Johar’s birthday bash. Nargis stayed for a short period of time only. They stuck to each other during that short period. Ness even dropped Nargis to her car when she was leaving.
• Kareena Kapoor made headlines with her size zero figure in the film Tashan. The film was not much of a success but Kareena surely set an example in Bollywood. Suddenly everyone was rushing about to get a waif thin figure like Kareena’s. Now a film is being made which has been named Size Zero – Everyone’s Losing It. The film is based on a girl who is being pressurised to lose weight by her fiancé. Siddartha Jain, the film’s producer says that the script is not based on Kareena.
• Though he does not have a single release this year Salman Khan has big plans for next year. The actor has preponed the shooting of Sooraj Barjatya’s film from February to November this year. He is thrilled with the script and the fact that he will be working with Sooraj again. The actor has decided an Eid release since Hrithik’s superhero movie will be releasing during Diwali. Then Salman will begin with the shooting of Sher Khan which will be directed by his brother Sohail Khan.
• Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor consider each other as their biggest rivals. The rivalry begun when Madhur Bhandarkar went on to sign Kareena for his film Heroine. Earlier Aishwarya had left the film as she got pregnant. The actress did not bother to inform Madhur who was displeased. Aishwarya is struggling to lose her post pregnancy weight while Kareena is the highest paid actress today. Even Sanjay Leela Bansali has signed her for his next film Ram Leela.
• Rumours are that Akshay Kumar has asked Salman Khan to do a voice over for the promos of his next film. Though the actor was seen revelling with Shahrukh recently he has at the same time started working with his foe Salman. The actor wants Salman to do the voice over for the concept based trailers of his next film Oh My God. The trailer is supposed to be the first of its kind in this country. The film also stars Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty apart from Akshay himself.
• Sajid Khan says that he casts those actors in his film with whom he bonds well. The director says that there are no good actors and bad actors. It depends on the how the director guides them. The director is making his next film Himmatwala with Ajay Devgn whose is not a Sajid Khan regular. The director has given three consecutive hits with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani.
• Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as a Bengali groom in his first wedding on the silver screen. The actor will be dressed as the traditional groom with the typical dhoti and the topor for a wedding sequence in his next film. Anurag Basu, the director of Barfee who is a Bengali himself is leaving no stones unturned to make the wedding sequence a believable one. Both Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz were present on the sets that very day. So it was not clear exactly who Ranbir was marrying.
• Neha Sharma will have a cameo in the much talked about film, Teri Meri Kahaani. She will play Shahid Kapoor’s love interest in the film in the present era. The actress made her début last year opposite Emraan Hashmi in the film Crook. Apart from this cameo she is also doing Kya Super Cool Hai Hum and Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story.

Rowdy Rathore expected to hit Theaters on the 15th of June 2012

Rowdy Rathore, which marks the return of Akshay Kumar in the action field, is a remake of the Telugu movie Vikramarkudu. The film went on the floors on 10^th august 2011. The movie has been promoted in a unique manner, wherein posters of lead actors were painted by street painters. The street painters took 4 hours to carve these posters out, while Akshay and Sonakshi were made to stand and pose for the posters. All the 4 posters designed by the painters, have been released as the film’s first look posters. Prabhudeva has directed this action caper after his previous action blockbuster Wanted.

Sources have credited Sanjay Leela Bhansali with this idea, as the renowned director intends to bring back the creative idea of poster painting back to bollywood. The posters have generated a huge response from the audience for its innovative approach already.

The poster also shows Akshay sporting a moustache. Akshay has sported a moustache look for films such as Sabse Bada Khiladi, Sangharsh and Chandni Chowk to China.

The plot of the movie revolves around a thief played by Akshay Kumar, who gets wrongly judged by a girl as her father. The thief then gets to know that he resembles the girl’s father, IPS officer Rathore who has been killed. The rest of the story is based on how the thief extracts revenge on those responsible for IPS officer Rathore’s death. Akshay Kumar is seen a double role in the movie.

The film was in the news recently, when it was reported that Akshay Kumar was almost wounded by a bullet while shooting. The amount of gunpowder used in the bullets was slightly higher than the normal level and it apparently could have rsulted in a very serious injury for Akshay. Akshay managed to escape with no harm done incidently, but the action director Mahindre Verma apologized to Akshay profoundly for the incident.

Rowdy Rathore is expected to hit the theatres on 15^th June 2012. The film has already gained a lot of publicity thanks to a lot of advertisement in the media and on social networking sites. Lets hope that this return to action genre proves to be a successful one for Akshay Kumar.

Aishwarya Rai and Kareena Kapoor’s rivalry going on steadily

Mumbai: Although they are not vocal about inside rivalry for each other but the fact remains that they consider each other their big rival. Well, this is not new among the stars in particular the female stars of Hindi cinema. So, if Aishwarya Rai and Kareena Kapoor find themselves into the bracket of each other’s rivalry, we cannot say it is unique or we heard for the first time since these ilks of stories we keep on hearing a lot.

Kareena Kapoor has become the top notch actress of Bollywood and she has her place at the top position on the list. Earlier this place was possessed none other than by the very gorgeous Aishwarya Rai who is even not among the top five these days post her pregnancy and baby’s birth. Filmmakers are now much keen to rope Kareena into their projects. She is the first choice of all the leading filmmakers of Bollywood and the leading brands of the country and even abroad. Kapoor gal now enjoys the same status which was once used by Aishwarya Rai. Now Sanjay Leela Bhansali has fetched Bebo into his movie ‘Ram Leela’ opposite Ranveer Singh. Sanjay’s hot favorite actress has been Aishwarya Rai and he even wanted to cast her and we even heard many rumors about the same. But due to her post baby heavyweight figure, guess, Sanjay dropped the idea and took Kareena on board instead.

Now Kareena is the first choice of the big banners and the producers and directors hardly think for Aishwarya Rai. This all must irk Aishwarya Rai though she is not vocal about it. But she even displayed her jealousy for Kareena Kapoor when she was hired for Heroine. Ash said, she was the initial choice for the film and she did not bother about who was fetched in later in the movie.

IIFA Awards 2012 – Nominations and Winners

Among the most celebrated award ceremonies of the country, the International Indian Film Academy Awards are presented to appreciate and honor Bollywood professionals. Since its inception in the year 2000, it is organized every year by Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt Ltd in various countries all over the world.

Every year, some films click with the audiences, while some don’t. Then you have some films which receive critical acclaim and some which fall flat on their faces.

2012 will see the 13^th edition of the IIFA Awards being held in South Africa on 17^th June. All the professionals in the Hindi film industry who worked hard in the past year will be given their due recognition.
