Mumbai: They were ex-flames but now they have done a film together and currently they are being spotted together for the promotions of their upcoming flick. They are Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra who once dated when they were shooting for the film ‘Kaminey’. But soon their romance ended up and they parted ways. Now they have done a film ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ together directed by Kunal Kohli. The movie is all set to hit the screens but before the film releases, they are doing the important and necessary work of promotion these days.

The duo is not leaving any stone unturned to promote the movie in an apt manner. They have constantly been doing the promotions in various manners. Both have been attending various events and making their appearances on various television shows and radio programs for creating the hype for the flick.

Yesterday Shahid and Priyanka were spotted together in Shahid’s lush vehicle. This is what happened that post the promotional activity at two radio programs, Shahid asked Piggy Chops to get into his red hot Jaguar that is a two seater from there they headed for attending the press conference at a five star hotel in Juhu, Mumbai.

The reports have it that Shahid had bought this car for Rs. 1.5 crores earlier this year. The movie ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ consists of three eras- 1910, 1960 and 2012. The film has been well in news and the pairing of the ex-flames is also igniting the sparks inside the viewers’ hearts.

Sujoy Ghosh to start sequel to Kahaani

Mumbai: Sujoy Ghosh is a talented filmmaker and script writer, this is now proved and the entire film industry and the masses admit the fact. With the box office and critically-acclaimed hit Kahaani, Ghosh has proved that he can make the films which can ignite the ticket window with gusto. We have learnt that Sujoy is currently writing two scripts to make two Hindi films which he will soon begin in India.

There is no denying at all that all and sundry are now waiting to see what Sujoy Ghosh will bring up for them on screen to watch? For the anxious people, this is the big news that the luminous filmmaker and writer is presently working on two scripts sitting in London. Sujoy himself tweeted to fans on his page that he was working on two screenplays – one for Amitabh Bachchan and other for Vidya Balan.

It has been learnt that for the project on Vidya, it will be a sequel to Vidya Balan’s mega successful film ‘Kahaani’. Sujoy mentions that once he finishes off with both the screenplays, he will be able to decide on which project he is to start working first. If the sequel to Kahaani is announced, it will be a treat for the movie’s fans. But what nice it would be if the sequel of the movie will be made after some hiatus since we all know when a gap happens, the interest quotient becomes stronger. Thus the moviegoers have to give some gap (as the movie has just been released recently) so that they can develop the interest and curiosity for the film.

Kahaani’s rights have also been sold out to regional movie makers to remake the film in regional languages. The talks are also going on with Aditya Chopra for Kahaani’s remake in English language for the world audiences in particular to Western viewers.

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s marriage date fixed

Mumbai: We have been continuously hearing about the wedding date of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s marriage but all those were the big ripples making the rounds of the media. A lot has been written in media about the marriage date and a lot has been penned on their ongoing romance. Their being spotted together and getting cozy and all sorts of things were projected and are being focused in the entire media. Their romance is high in the air. Few days back, there were rumors about the wedding date i.e. 16^th October but Kareena, in an interview, strictly and sternly denied all the reports saying all focus of the media and people was on her relationship and marriage. She also said there was no planning of marriage yet and that she was focusing on her movies only. But now her mother-in-law to be Sharmila Tagore has made it confirmed and put the silence mark on the wedding date’s rumors saying ‘yes, this (16^th October) is the marriage date, we have zeroed in.’

Sharmila Tagore says that the marriage will happen on the same date and there will be a reception but not that big. The reports have it that the marriage will take place at Patudai’s ancestral home where only the close family members will be there to bless the couple. Later, another wedding reception will be arranged in Mumbai for family members and close friends. This too will not be lavish.

Kareena has confirmed Sanjay Leela Bhansali that she will continue shooting for his film Ram Leela as she has to continue with films post the marriage. Well, let’s see if Saifu gives you permission post marriage.

Rowdy Rathore Box Office Collections – Reports and Earnings

The raw look seems bound to leave quite an impact and with the IPL season over and no other good movie in sight Rowdy Rathore is sure to be a bang on hit.
The movie has already received an amazing start in most parts of the countries. Housefull multiplexes and single screen theaters present the whole story. It seems the movie is doing better business in single screen theaters than in multiplexes. Single screen theaters in UP and Delhi say a 85% plus occupancy rate on day 1. The entire northern Indian region sees a similar fate. Down south and Maharashtra the movie is going a bit slow with an average of 65% occupancy rate. However, the figures are only expected to improvise by the weekend.
After opening to a huge response on day 1 it seems the movie did better than most of us anticipated. Day 1 Box Office Collections of Rowdy Rathore stands strong at 14.50 crores. It’s been quite sometime since we saw a movie do that well. Akshay Khiladi Kumar rekindles magic yet again.

Mumbai: These days Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are quite in the news and the news headlines would love to feature both of them.
